Visit the Smithsonian National Museum

The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in Washington, DC houses Julia Child's home kitchen as part of the exhibition on food history. The kitchen looks exactly the way it was when she lived in her home in Cambridge, Massachusetts and it still remains one of the most popular exhibits at the museum.

To celebrate Child's Birthday the museum will organize a cooking demonstration on Aug. 17. The famous chefs will demonstrate how to cook Child's signature dishes in the demonstration kitchen of the Wallace H. Coulter Performance Plaza.
